Our Staff

Our teachers and staff are the heart of Neighborhood House. Each member of our team is highly trained in early childhood education and dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Many of our educators hold advanced credentials and have years of experience nurturing young learners.

We believe strong teacher–child relationships are essential for development, and our low teacher-to-child ratios ensure personalized attention for every student. Our staff’s passion, expertise, and commitment help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Highly Qualified, Always Growing

At Neighborhood House, your child’s education and safety are in the hands of highly trained, dedicated professionals. Preschool Lead Teachers in our Board of Education–contracted classrooms hold at least a bachelor’s degree and are state-certified in New Jersey for Preschool through 3rd Grade. Infant & Toddler instructional staff hold, at minimum, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

Every classroom includes at least one bilingual (English/Spanish) instructional team member to support our diverse families. All staff are CPR trained and certified, creating a safe, well-prepared environment for your child.

To ensure we provide the very best care and education, every staff member completes a minimum of 25 hours of professional development each year in curriculum, child development, and health and safety, keeping skills sharp and knowledge current.

It Takes A Village

Neighborhood House is grateful to our generous donors and partners, who support our mission to provide high-quality, affordable childcare to our community.
